Benefits of Seed Treatment
Micronutrients can be supplied to crops by soil application, fertigation or foliar fertilization. An additional and very efficient technique for covering the early demand
of the emerging crop is seed treatment with micronutrients, particularly with molybdenum (legumes) and zinc or manganese (cereals, etc.) as seedlings only have a very
limited root system and therefore must rely on seed reserves. Seed treatment helps boost early growth.
Seed treatment may show higher efficiency than any early foliar spray when the leaf surface is still poorly developed for sufficient foliar absorption.
Seed treatment helps promote more uniform emergence, better root development, more crop resistance to herbicide stress, improved
water as well as nutrient supply to the plant.
Quality Requirements
The product must be safe to the seed. The nutrient in the coating must be relatively soluble but at the same time safe during emergence.
Competitive products often contain insoluble fertilizer sources which have been found safe to the seedling but relatively ineffective compared to more soluble sources
in promoting early plant growth. WUXAL Suspensions for seed treatment have evidenced their
high performance in international trials conducted on soybeans, beans and cereals.

WUXAL Suspensions for Seed Treatment
Various technologically advanced suspension fertilizers containing concentrated amounts of available molybdenum alone or in combination with other nutrients have been developed by
AGLUKON to treat crops like soybean as well as cereal seeds prior to planting -
WUXAL Extra CoMo –
WUXAL Extra Mo –
WUXAL Semillion.
Characteristics of WUXAL Suspensions for seed treatment:
- Higher safety to the seeds.
- Highly concentrated: saves time in relation to coating (single treatment).
- Nutrient analysis or balance matched to crop demand.
- Even distribution on the surface of the seeds.
- Excellent adherence on the seed surface.
- Good miscibility with inoculants as well as pesticides.
- Better harvest yield and quality.
